Mix all ingredients in a bowl until combined. Rest in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Divide mince mixture into desired number of patties. Roll each into a ball then squash flat. Heat a BBQ grill and brush with cooking oil (alternatively heat oil in a frypan on stove at high heat). Place patties on grill and cook for two to three minutes on each side (or longer depending on how well you like them done). Squash flat again once flipped.
Allow patties to rest briefly then assemble on buns with your favourite toppings.
